“Bioremediation of water for the removal of contaminants responsible for oxidative stress in aquatic organisms”

The International Conference organized by IRCEnv (C.I.R.AM.) is an event promoted by the Italian University Consortium for Argentina (CUIA). As is known, CUIA co-finances Workshops, Laboratories and/or Scientific Initiatives of inter-university cooperation between Italy and Argentina aimed at promoting joint research between the two countries. CIRAM has obtained funding for the project “Use of microalgae in the bioremediation of waters for the removal of pollutants responsible for the oxidative stress of aquatic organisms” which proposes the development of plants, based on the use of microalgae, for the removal of pollutants from polluted water basins in Argentina (Riachuelo, Guaraní, La Plata) and in Italy (Sarno, Volturno). The Scientific Director is Prof. Domenico Pirozzi.
