Selection of 40 university students for the Winter School
“Resilient Environments: Remediation Strategies for a Sustainable Planet”

 The Winter School is organised by Federico II University’s Interdepartmental Center for Environmental Research (C.I.R.AM.). The call for applications for the selection of 40 university students is issued pursuant to Director’s Decree No. 21 of 29/09/2025 within the project “Supporting Universities in digital transition, educational Innovation, & environment protection, fostering the Launch of Italian Educational Institutions Abroad (SULIEIA)” (codice TNE23-00011) - funded by the PIANO NAZIONALE DI RIPRESA E RESILIENZA (PNRR) MISSIONE 4 “Istruzione e ricerca” - COMPONENTE 1 “Potenziamento dell’offerta dei servizi all’istruzione: dagli asili nido all’Università” INVESTIMENTO 3.4 “Didattica universitaria e competenze avanzate”, sotto-investimento - T4 “Iniziative Transnazionali in materia di istruzione” - CUP E41I24000240006. The Winter School will focus on the assessment, management, and remediation of contaminated soil, water, and air. It will allow participants to gain insight into the latest developments in site characterization, risk assessment, remediation techniques, and government policy. The course will also include case studies and a site tour.
